Little to no grease in the driveline?

    I thought that the U-joints didn't have seals, only dust caps that are meant to allow some grease to be flung out so that new grease can move outward toward the bearings. If there were seals (like the CV joints), there wouldn't be any need for zerks.

    Gotcha, thought you were referring to just the driveshaft. I got scared 'cause I purposely pumped a ton of the old black stuff out of my u joints the first time I did it.

    dust caps = good

    seals = I screwed up

    when you grease your u-joints just make sure grease comes out of all the cups. if theres one cup that won't take grease, your u joint will fail some time in the future.

    i just did mine, mine took 4 pumps in each. I have a reg cab i only had 2
