    I did have a ball joint fail within a year. It was the older ball joint before the revised it. The new ones are stronger and come with grease zerks. The boots can wash out if you mud a lot so make sure you always grease them up good.

    Thanks brother! So basically if you want a specific ball joint go with SPC and if you want the ability to fix if something happens go with JBA. Are the JBA as enclosed as the SPC?

    I run them on my 3rd gen 4runner. They were past the warranty, I called spc and they said to work with Toytec. I called toytec and they said they could not do anything. I ended
    True but some like to actually run them completely maxed forward (stock location). This gives me more room to clear large tires at the firewall. Maxing out LCA's and SPC's forward I was able to get 2* caster and tons of firewall clearance. Again 3rd gen 4runner. It can clear 35's on the street with no firewall modification.

    I agree no one can adjust them. They are completely lost. I have street tested every single setting to get the best setup. I pretty much aligned my truck before taking it to the shop for final adjustment.

    You can pick the spc replacement ball joints up pretty cheap online. Not a big deal if they need replaced.

    Im maxed out forward, G setting on the arms which is -2* caster.. I have ran maxed the other way A setting and I got 5* caster. Issue is when you gain caster your moving the ball joint towards the firewall causing possibility of tire to firewall contact. Only reason I have mine at the forward setting is for more wheel clearance at firewall.

    I have tested them at all settings, and been aligned at 2*, 3.5* and 5*. I found I could fully stuff my 305's at the G setting than I could at the A setting. When you run G setting and max the LCA's forward to gain caster you get tons of firewall clearance because the entire shock/coil assembly is pushed forward.
