I’m not really in a rush, but I also don’t like throwing down over 4k (changed to 3.5 Lt, and added other misc parts) without really knowing what to expect for lead times, but that was the risk I took when committing to this gb. I won’t have my shocks from Accutune til around mid-late August. Archive order has at least 4-5 weeks to go, and my McNeil glass 3-4 weeks. I’m a little disappointed with TC changing their shipping arrangements. I’m in AZ, so they ship to Roman across the country, then back across the country again to AZ. I see more opportunities for parts to get lost, or damaged. Seems shitty for TC to pull a stunt like that.

My end date is Aug 15. That should be roughly almost a month of me waiting.

I understand shit happens thus why I am trying my best to be flexible.

I can wait. No biggie. Thanks again for putting this together. This is also the reason one of the local race teams no longer uses TC stuff, and goes with camburg.

I wish that I could claim that my truck will be full LT, but for now SOA must remain for load carrying capacity. I use the truck for hunting/camping so it’s gets filled with heavy gear. It will be SUA someday. I almost went through State 48 before I found this gb. Best prices I could find even with sales tax.

What made them switch out of curiosity? I always heard TC has the best customer service in the industry, while Camburgs was poor. They make some nice parts though. The chromoly racekit option is ultimately what made me choose TC. Camburg was my 2nd choice.

My point exactly. I'm in Phoenix too and it makes zero sense to ship to Ohio and then back to Arizona - seems like someone is losing money by having to double ship.....????

I'm not so much in a rush as liking to keep things simple. The less moving parts the better.

If you are going with a 3.5 kit I think you would be fine with an SUA. @snowsk8air2 has a tank ass rear bumper and has the same DMZ rear as me but added an AAL to it which works out great for load capacity as well. When I load mine up with 2-400 pounds of extra gear mine will sag some...I don't really notice. Yea S48 has some good deals on stuff and we are always willing to see what we can do beyond the site. That said I think this GB will be worth it in the end.

That's a very good reason why I went with TC on top of their race option. I think burg can be hit or miss on the customer service depending on who answers the phone. My major complaint with burg is they don't have barely any tech manuals which is nice to know for when torqueing everything down at the end to spec. All my friends have resorted to TC's literature for this exact issue.

Yes a tc +3.5” kit would be greatly complimented by a dmz spring under kit. I believe they offer an hd spring pack, or you could do something like me and get their standard pack with a custom aal from deaver. I have towed almost 4K lbs with my setup and most recently camped for 8 days straight fully loaded during my lake trip/ running the rubicon.

What I’m getting at is you can still have decent carrying capacity with a solid sua LT setup and keep the truck very very functional.

Photos from the rubicon for attention.

And a bad ass samurai with full Toyota running gear just because.

I don't even have a spare set of spindles yet :notsure:, you do what needs done Roman.

Would I feel differently if I dropped a few grand? Probably, but I'd be empathetic, too.
