Living in Richmond, VA rent is not cheap.

As a 22 year old engineer I want to stash away some cash.

I have ran this idea by the girlfriend and she claims with air conditioning she would be willing to do it as long as I'm there (cue the awwww)

What's my first step to finding the most comfortable overland rig, that offers air conditioning and electric?

You could pay a lot of rent for the cost of setting up a truck to comfortably live in. It also won't cost you a girlfriend.

Where ya gonna park it?? That will cost $$ Showering daily?? Bathroom several times daily?? Won't she split rent with you?? No college debt and $68M/year should be no problem to live on......move farther out from 'the high rent district'.

Do you actually own a Tacoma?

    Are you really an engineer?

Can't you figure these things out on your own?

Get a cheap gym membership. That’s all
Covered. Or bathroom at work too.

If I was single and didn’t have dogs I’d 100% think about this.

if you want to stash away cash, the worst way to do it is to buy a brand new vehicle with a loan.

buy a beater with cash if you want to save money.

Wow, this was a stupid post.

She is splitting rent so I guess that's $300-$400 a piece at most.

Always be looking for ways to stash away some cash. Excellent thinking.

Poor thinking, especially for an engineering student who didn't check the math on living out of a truck and maintaining having a girlfriend. Always check your work.

    OP must live in California.

Edit: I skimmed past the part where OP said VA
