Cap or Flip pac: Trying to figure out which would be better. Getting a cap and making a living space inside or getting a flip pac.

    CAP
+Does not yell, " I live in my truck"
    + Sleep anywhere
    + Blend in to society

    -Not a ton of space

    Flip Pac
    + A lot of room
    + Perfect for car camping

-Look like you live in your truck
    - How water "proof" is it?

    Please give your thoughts...

Caps are better for stealth although I don't truck camp in the city so I don't REALLY need stealth. I always bring a tent with me in case I don't feel like sleeping in the truck bed when I camp out. Extra gear goes in the tent and then I have plenty of room in the bed.

Google "cheap rv living blog". It's owned by a guy named Bob who is basically a BLM/national forest Nomad and has all kinds of good info about the subject.
