If you ask the tire guys in Whitehorse Yukon what tires they have on their 4X4 service trucks that go off road to drilling operations, mine sites, and up the Dempster highway, they will tell you they use Nitto EXO Grapplers. They might be tougher than you need though.

You sure about that? Mine has been spot on from the few Radar Speed Warning signs I've passed and compared to my speedo. Also my GPS in the WAZE app seems to reflect the analog displayed speed. The digital display sometimes appears to be out of sync by 1mph but not always. Disclaimer: The radar signs compared at speeds of 45 to 55 mph.

    Too many to list...
FYI those roadside radar "your speed is" signs are never calibrated too well (one reason they aren't admissible in court... don't ask).

For what it's worth I just ordered a set of 265/70R17 KO2s, C load rating, to put on the stock 3Gen sport wheels - no lift, not planning one anytime soon. From many others in the forum they fit with no rubbing. Got a set of 4 for $746 shipped (4WD Hardware). backordered, but I can wait a few extra days.
Will try to remember to post a picture once they're mounted.

Is anyone running 265/70-16 K02's on their truck? Is there any rubbing issues when the truck is not lifted? I know it's the stock size but apparently the K02's are a bit wider than the stock Goodyear's that come on the Off Road

They will not rub at all... there are others running larger tires without lift and no issues.

Out of curiosity OP, what don't you like about the AT Adventure? They're a fairly new tire to GY, and I haven't gotten a lot of feedback on them yet other than that people like how quiet they are for an AT.

Crap, sorry... I've been looking at 17" wheels today and totally failed to also look at 16" before posting. This also means I have to pull the trigger on new wheels if I decide to get those tires.

Speedo will differ across all trucks. Mine was near perfectly spot on with stock, and going to 265/75r16 made it about 2 mph slower.

There is also a slight difference between the analog and digital for me.

See 1st post here, very pic heavy but about halfway down you'll see this member experienced sidewall (I think it was sidewall anyway) failure. However, for the record I do not recall seeing anyone else post evidence of sidewall failure on these tires. I believe there is more of a negative stigma associated with Stock Tires in general and people just want an excuse to put something beefier/more aggressive looking on their new ride.

The OEMs have held up fine for me in some very rough terrain here in AZ... I've ridden them fairly hard over sharp desert rocks and cacti with no issues.

I think very highly of the Discoverer ST's. Had them on a Grand Cherokee and a Nissan hardbody years ago and they were awesome. Great traction in everything from snow to mud and they shrugged off a couple of curb kisses (from when the GF was driving, of course), which is impressive because the curbs around here are mostly granite sleepers.
Loud, though. I didn't care, but just a warning.

If you're gonna run "C"'s, then you might as well buy "P" series tires. A "P" rated tire in truck sizes is rated to carry more weight than a "C" rated LT tire.

    Hi.
Haven't been great in the snow so far. Lots of snow around here. Mine may not be quiet (or its this issue I hear).

Not so much snow down here around Lewiston; probably down to less than a foot now. Especially after the last couple of days :pout:

Interesting to hear that they're not great in the snow; they look like they'd be a good pattern for it. I'll have to keep that in mind going forward.

Let me know if you want to sell them, lol. I might be interested in a summer set with a little more bite than my stock Dunflops.

Hi Neighbor. I am up in Moscow. Not much snow now here either, but the hilly country still has a pretty good pack. They are fine in hard pack, but deep snow not as good as the DuraTrac's I had on my 2013..

I will probably keep them and put them back on when I trade in a couple years. ;)
