Not quite available here yet. Went with Hankook ATMs in P265/75R16 for now as my tires are extremely bald and the Falken dealers in town haven't even heard of this new tire yet. When I'm ready to go up to 255/85R16 they should be available.

No dealers around here, but found them on-line at "Discount Tires Direct" $138 in 265/75-16 and free shipping. Should be here Friday.
Liked what they looked like, and what I read about them..

Those falkens look like a great choice, they also come in 285/70/17 C load! It's between those and C 285/70/17 nitto g2's, which are gonna be hard to pass up as they only weigh 2 more pounds than the stock trd or tires

Yeah the falkens look like a perfect DD/occasional trail driving. I plan on picking up a set of 285/75/17 when they are back in stock.

I like Tall and Skinny but if these come in that size for a C... hmm if weight is much less I think I agree with you instead of Discoverer S/T

I can't find a listing of the tires that will be out. I would love some tall skinnies as well. It's between these and 255 Cooper ST Maxx.

Didn't see anyone mention 255 width options. Considering the OR benefiits of a narrower tire surprised so few are interested in going that route. When my stocks wear out thats what I'll be doing.

Edit: new posts while I was typing mention 255

I got the load E BFG ko2 and I'm not happy with the fuel loss and stiff ride. I have the 16 inch OR rims that I don't want to replace. Any suggestions for a c rated All Terrain that is lighter and still looks good and performs well in all the seasons in Colorado. Thank you!

I ordered load C Goodyear Duratracs and ended up with E's due to logistics.

I'm happy that I have one more layer of sidewall protection but I've lost a ton of fuel economy. The Duratracs are lighter than most E's but have tons of rolling resistance.

We don't have the Falken AT tires readily available to my shop or I would have considered them.

I believe that Duratracs and BFG AT's are the only tires available with snow flake ratings.

    ^^

    Me too...;)

They look like just what I wanted. Load range "C" and about the same weight as stock tires. Moderately aggressive thread (good for deeper snow, moderate mud) but with siping (better grip in the wet and packed snow).

    Good looks, good pricing.
All the test reports I've read are good.

Should get the mounted up next Saturday or so.

Been beating the hell out of my OEM TRD OR minivan GoodYears and they've held up surprisingly well. The AZ desert is not kind on tires. If they blow, I have an excuse and kitchen pass from the ol' lady to buy a new set. If I do get another set, I'll be going with something at stock size and as close to OEM tire weight as I can.

Biggest problem I had with two sets of Duratracs in the past (on other trucks) 265/75R16 was keeping them balanced

My 2 cents. On my third pair of General grabber at2s Have owned several KO2s, older Kelly msr which was good, burned through the tsr in 20000 miles and where slick at half tread. Belive it or not the wrangler at_S is a good all around tire and great in snow. Another great tire I owned was a cooper st but heavy. BUT the General at2 is siped to the bottom and has more sipes than the new bfg ko which helps disipate heat for longer wear and added traction and if you look closely the ribs between all the tread blocks small or not is like hundreds of fingers in the snow even when worn out. Stops on a dime in the wet and great off road less super heavy mud but no need not running mud every day. Plus c size meaning better mpg's. Also cheaper than others and long tread life and quiet. Check out the review. http://www.4x4review.com/general-grabber-all-terrain-tire-review/
Wish they would update the side lugs to offset every other lug though. OK off the at2 soap box. But laugh at all the bfg hype, plasti dipping and something storm trooper. Just say we drive toyotas.

Just want to say I saw the Falken A/T3W today in person and it is definitely going to be my next tire. Very aggressive looking while also having a street tire tread and driving. No road noise at 40 mph at all. I can't wait till they get my size in and I can pick up a set.

I have to agree, I didn't go with all of the BFG K02 hype and got the Grabber AT2s and I've loved them so far. They did amazing today in the sand and rock. They went through the little mud I could find without a problem either. Great bang for your buck.

I see the FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T3W has been mentioned a few times on this thread. I can provide some additional insight on this new product line.

This tire is nothing like the previous Wildpeak A/T or Rocky Mountain A/TS you may find on the road today.

Every tire size in the new A/T3W line is Severe Snow rated and comes with a 55k mile tread life warranty, and that warranty is not a marketing gimmick. This product has been in development over that past several years and has been repeatedly tested against the BFG KO2, the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10, the Toyo Open Country ATII, and the Cooper Discoverer AT3. While each of those tires have their own strengths and weaknesses, I can assure you the tread life and winter performance of the A/T3W are much better than the a few of those mentioned. The tread depth alone on the AT3W is up to 20/32nds on many of the LT sizes therefore claiming the deepest tread award of any A/T tire on the market today (Ex. BFG KO2 tops out at 15/32nds). Of course compounding is of utmost importance in tire design, and is exactly why this new product is focused on three key performance areas: Wear, Winter, and Wet (hence the 3W).

The A/T3W has also been put through the ringer off-road. It was developed in parallel with the WILDPEAK M/T that we have been thrashing at King of the Hammers, Ultimate Adventure, and in other testing over the past few years. A great thing about the A/T3W (and I'll admit the KO2 also) is that when you air these tires down, the upper sidewall is not just for looks anymore, you truly get some off-road traction, especially off-camber.

OK I've done enough Falken marketing so I'll stop for now... Looking forward to seeing some other Tacoma owners post some pictures of the A/T3Ws in action!
