I'm in need of new tires. Currently running 285/75/16 Nitto Trail Grappers on stock 01-04 TRD rims. Love the tires, have them on my full size as well, but they ride so rough on the taco. Washboard roads and pretty much any bump in the road are rough. I know I have a good suspension set up, ADS up front, Wheelers packs and 5100 in the rears. I attribute the ride quality to the E load range.

I'm pretty set on a finding a D load range in a 285 or 295/75/16, but a D load range in that size has become hard to find apparently, in a At or MT. So far I've only found a few tires that meet the size and range:
    Nitto Terra grappler 285/75/16 & 295/75/16
    Hankook Dynapro MT 295/75/16
    Maxxis BigHorn 285/75/16

Given the limited choices on a D range in the size I'm looking for, what has everyone else's experience been it comes to E range tires? Are there any tires I'm over looking that would meet the size and load range I'm looking for? Load capacity is not a big concern for me, the most that is hauled is a ATV on a trailer.

I have been running load E tires on my Taco for a long time. I just put on a set of Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs 285/75/16 E. The load E is a heavy duty tire and runs stiffer than the D's. It is a trade-off and a personal choice. The load E's are more puncture resistance and the sidewalls hold up better when they are aired down. I have run the Nitto's, BFG AT KO's and now the Goodyear's and they all run stiff and you feel every little bump. I prefer the durability at the cost of a little comfort...it is a truck after all!

Here is a link to Discount Tire Direct with 7 load D tires. I am not recommending any of them, just offering more than 3. https://www.discounttiredirect.com/...r-asc:loadRange:D1&sort=bestSeller-asc&page=0

    Good luck.
