Love your truck, only thing that would make it better is if it was Speedway Blue. How is the LineX holding up on the bumpers? I am getting tired of repainting mine. What do you do to touch it up?

I do drive like an asshole from time to time and haven't had a need to take it off. I will probably take it off when I get to Moab this year, but I don't need it off from day to day.

off road is so much better w/o that thing! I still drive like a 18yr old on the street from time to time too, not having a sway bar makes me feel much more reckless :D Kudos to you for keeping it on tho, you'll probably be better off than me if something crazy happens on the street...

They usually do, especially with aftermarket coilovers, but OP is still running Factory suspension components up front.

Hey Peter are you gonna upgrade from the struts now that you have the TC arms so you can take advantage of the extra travel you can get?

I will take the sway bar off when I go wheeling on the 16th and see how I like it.

I am still on the stock Baja suspension so it actually has more travel than I can get from my stock UCA. Eventually I will upgrade the coil overs, but they have done a good job so far. I like the fact that I am on 35s and about to be fully armored on this suspension. So many people bash the Baja and I am rolling proof that it holds its own.

Things that are paid for and getting changed in the next month:
    Rear Leaf Springs
New Coil seat for current shocks
    TC UCA
    New Bump stops all around
    High Clearance Rear bumper
    Roof Rack

Coming up before the end of May:
    Stainless Break lines
    4.56 Gears
    Front Locker
    Air Compressor
    Many more lights.

So you're telling me the stock suspension setup on a Baja bottoms out on the upper balljoint at droop, rather than the shock completely extending? And now that you're replacing the UCA's you're going to have more travel how?

I am just trying to understand your statements. I have never seen a stock suspension bind out a joint, rather than the shock limit the droop. I would be really interested if Toyota designed the Baja this way. Seems like a good way to get sued when balljoints fail due to an improper suspension design.

I would really like to see some travel number to back up your statements.

Not bashing on the Baja suspension at all, but it really doesn't compare with an aftermarket extended length coilover.
