Local Dealer is offering me 38K for my 2020 TRD OFF-Road. Is that good?

Im trying to sell it without the hassle of private sale as I still owe to the bank.

 

Sounds like a losing adventure to me. Didnt you just pay more to buy it? Will you not lose all the money from the mods??

From what everyone is talking about, you should be able to get more than you paid for it, with the shortage of Taco's to go round.

 

See what Carvana and the like will offer. Wouldn't be surprised if you could fetch 42k+ ..

 

get a quote from Carvana and any of the other big name online car sales places and go with the highest bidder.

 

I would go 45k supply and demand .

Do you need to replace it if you sell it? If not good for you. If you do need to replace it will you have any net gain when you replace it. It is not only Taco's up in price but every thing is.

 

I'd sell it to the dealer vs. dealing with a bunch of broke dicks on a private sale. I know that rubs people the wrong way, but the average broke dick car buyer think nothing of wasting your time when they haven't got two balls of lint to rub together in their pockets

I'm no trying to scalp private buyers. I'd be replacing it yes but not another truck.

Hmm.. I thought new Tacos were hard to find in Cali (especially southern California.) The dealer sounds hassle free BUT you may be leaving several grand on the table to avoid filtering the folks mentioned above. You may as well shop a couple dealers.

For those of you mentioning Carvana.. aren't they going to balk at the mods?

 

my truck was totaled last month. I was given 38k for a 2020 SR 4x2. 38k for a TRD off road is a complete rip off in the current market.

 

I checked the dealer where I bought it and they have it new for 42k . BTW that dealer has been the best purchasing experience ever.

 

Damn. It looks like you found your 38k truck!

 

New for 42k if they could find one. Or are you saying they have one on the lot that isn't spoken for? (doubtful).
