I want to get a modified valve body for my truck but I don't want to wait 10+ days to wait for mine to get rebuilt by ITC or level 10. Does anybody know any local tranny shops around the Denver area that might be able to do it?

I also recently heard about a kit you can buy from level 10 to do it yourself. Does anybody have any information on these kits? First, is one of these kits as good as sending my valve body out to get it redone by IPT or level 10 or is it not as good? Second, level 10s website states that they will specifically pick different springs and valve sizes to make the perfect valve body for the way that you drive. Will they be able to send out different springs and different drillbits if I order a kit, or is it just one premade kit? TIA!

Soo IPT will only do the work at the shop, I spoke with both IPT and Level 10 last 2 days. Both very informative. Im gonna go with IPT they do more extensive work than the DIY kit from level 10. The price also includes replacing some worn items in the valve body. Level 10 diy kit will shift sooner but not necessarily Firmer or Harder. Ipt will give you a solid shift throughout until you step on it and it shifts harder. that's basically what I got from my convos. I went with IPT because I work for airline I can fly up to NJ and John says if I drop it off and go have a long lunch he will have it done in a few hours. Hope this helps
