Does anyone out there know where to find a stock leather 6 spd shift knob for an 05? Other than from the dealer, that is, who wants $190 bucks for it? Maybe someone who has upgraded to a custom jobby wants to part with their stock one. All I can find online are 5 spd or the 6 spd cue ball oem ones that I'm not too into. Thanks

I have a mint 2010 6-spd stock leather shift knob. Not sure if they're identical to the 2005 knobs, though.

Yeah, mine is totally worn to a shredded mess. But I just recently passed 100k miles, and the extra humidity here probably doesn't help, so I'm not surprised. TACK, I imagine the threads are the same with a 2010. As far as the shift pattern, reverse is left and up from first on my 05, is that the same with yours? That's my main concern, is that the pattern is the same, because when I've lent my truck to friends and family they all seem to struggle with reverse in this truck and a different pattern would only make matters worse.

Yep, mine's the same shift pattern.

Cool. Well, if you're willing to part with it, let me know what the damage would be and how to go about making it happen. Thanks.

I considered selling it, but on second thought I think I might hang on to it. It's funny sometimes how I wish I had something again right after I get rid of it!
