2016 OR DCSB. Lock button on remote works every ten clicks. Same with button on drivers handle. Unlock works everytime from remote and by opening drivers door with remote in pocket. Any ideas?

The fob on my 05 worked 100 percent of the time from 2005 until 2018 when i got rid of it. Never even changed the batteries and it seemed like every couple months I would find it in the washing machine or the dryer. The fob for the 3rd gen rarely works for me. Super frustrating. I agree with your statement.

suggestions would be to 1) change the battery 2) inspect for water damage. 3) take it to Toyota. Do you have 2 fobs? Do both of them act the same way?

Logical trouble shooting, I like it. I will try the battery. I thought Of that then didn’t bother because they are expensive and the unlock works perfectly. I of course recently misplaced the other fob.
