    tomorrow

    hopefully

i picked this up last night from a guy from pirate and idk im really nervous that its not the right one. and i would really like to make sure before im knee deep in diff fluid.

    i gotta 2000 sr5 v6
    axle code is B03A
lock right part number is 1615 30 tooth spline

im like 75% sure it is the correct one but the latest thing throwing me off is the spacers dont look like any of the pictures ive seen from searching all over
    IMAG0121_1309997774460.jpg
so you can see the spacers in the center with the small holes in them
    is that ok?

any other input, hints, tricks or tips would be greatly appreciated

The only thing I could recommend is that you call up lock right and ask them to email you the directions to install it

I believe the ones with the small holes are the same ones I installed in my 76 fj40. I think all 6 cyl toyotas are the same. Just go for it. (unless tis is your DD and you need it to get to work tomorrow)

I have always used brake cleaner to spray the inside and let it drain then blot dry with paper towels. Get ready to put up with the clicking ratcheting sound the lock right will make. I used one before in an old Blazer and every time I made turns in public everyone would ask if my u-joints were going bad. Click click click click. It got real old.

btw these are the write ups im going off of. even though none look very similar to mine:confused:

    mostly this one
    http://www.yotatech.com/f116/lockright-locker-install-into-v6-rear-write-up-pics-179241/

this one kinda skimps on the details
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/134446-how-richmond-gears-powertrax-lockright.html

    same here
    http://www.toy4x4.net/rear_locker/index.htm

    and here
    http://www.gearinstalls.com/v6lockrite.htm

if anyone has any other informative write ups now would be a spectacular time

i would do a write up but i dont have a good camera and it would be like the blind leading the blind
