Is this a viable solution? It seems to play thru the horn. No clue what to unplug and if that disables anything else.

So I found the chirper just hanging there not connected to any bracket or anything just hanging by the wires. I lifted it up and could hear it better but still weak. Came to dealership tech came out and said yeah it is weak took my truck out back and here I am waiting for diagnosis. Try to post pic soon

You must have an alarm...... The 'chirp' didn't come with the stock no-alarm trucks in 07.

Ok so the tech brought the chirper back to me and it was all corroded. On the inside, kinda like the economy! So what I think happened is the chirper came dislodged from its mounting. It was then hanging down and exposed to water and salt splashing up from the underside of the truck. This unit is not water resistant at all. I ordered the part at $ 39.00. Check out pics for better explanation.

I hate the lock/unlock chirp on my '13. Thanks for the info on how to take that thing out! (Alarm still works through the horn which is fine)
