Any suggestions I have a 2004 Tacoma 3.4. About 2 years ago I had to leave the area truck was working fine. I got back 2 weeks ago been having trouble getting it started just clicking checked starter relay connections it did slowly rotate the very first attempts then just clicking. So I took all three belts off and started out. Tried to turn crankshaft stuck froze I've got plugs out now used a can of wd40. Any ideas what to do. I'm about to tear down to the head and fill up with oil. Maybe tap them lightly everyday hope they break free. I'm stuck with out a vehicle out in the middle of no where. Williston FL. Of course every person here says there mechanics. But not one. Of them will help. Like when my 2008 Tacom all wiring got destroyed by rats or raccoon. Had to redo every wire and fuse box. Not a single mechanic shop would touch it. Dealership wanted 7,500. After 2months I did it. Probably lost 10,000. In work but I didn't have to pay 7,500. Unfortunately truck was destroyed in an accident

All you can do is fill it with oil like you did and slowly try to work it free and continue to soak it. Don't break the crank bolt off over tightening it. It might be best to use a bar on the flywheel, more leverage there and worst case your break a tooth off. Auto or manual trans and what type of environment was it stored in? Very odd for a motor to rust up in 2 years unless it was left exposed with the intake open or something like that.

I truly am a mechanic, 32 years as a ford engine tech...
If you got the plugs out & its not moving...
Youre WASTING your time, just trying to free the pistons up & put it back together....

    Theres a reason its locked-up....
If you had coolant get into the cylinder, that shouldn't cause it to seize...
Look at the oil condition, metal debris between the oil filter paper material pleats?

ITS DONE, REGARDLESS WHAT YOU FIND.

Could take the starter out to make sure for some unforeseen reason the starter gear isnt hung-up causing everything to bind.
If its a manual trans, you have it in neutral while attempting to turn the engine with a breaker bar?
If it is a manual, in gear with brake-on, would feel like a locked up engine...
just saying, I have no idea how technical you are..

Theres more to this story, didnt just lock up for no reason, just sitting...
Cant turn the crank either way?
Maybe all these rodents got into your intake with a ton of debris, you fired it off & it ingested it & bent a connecting rod?
Anything is possible at this point but we dont have a crystal ball...
