That's why I'm curious. Long lead times, always sold out, but no reviews anywhere. From what I've read about their technology and build its relatively similar to fox/King but is the longevity there? They began in 2018 so not a lot of time to test durability and longevity

I’m kinda curious, is there stuff made in house/USA? It looks the exact same as alibaba wholesale down to the resi adjusters style. Probably waiting on the ship from China if that’s the case.

They're made in house in Florida and California I believe. You've seen coilovers on Alabama? I'm curious lol do you have a link to it?

I could totally be full of shit, I just find it interesting that the style of resi adjuster seems to be seen on a lot of overseas shocks rather than anything I’ve seen made in USA. Shock brands like “send-it” suspension and “trailrunnerUSA” sell/sold wholesale shocks for example. TrailrunnerUSA looks to be defunct or the site is down.

    Examples with similar resi style

noted below. This doesn’t necessarily reflect the how the quality of the shock is.

Screenshot_20230211_103749_Chrome.jpgtheir company address goes back to a UPS store. Normally when ive seen this its a big red flag. I reached out to accutune to see if theyve ever tested them or have experience. Still trying to hunt down some solid sourcesScreenshot_20230211_103754_Maps.jpg

Dang I didn't know you could look that up. Assuming their parts are solely sources from China then. I'm almost tempted to try them and leave a review..

That's probably why OP is MIA. Just fork the extra $ and buy from a reputable company.

IIRC, a couple years ago I read on a forum that some dude posted he bought a set of FOX 2.0 with remote resi for his truck. Rode decent for the first 5k miles or so and suspension went south shortly after that. He cut the resi up to find out the resi housing is aluminum and have a solid plastic filling and contain no fluid. He cut the hose and it was dry, unscrew the fitting to the body and it went to a threaded hole that lead nowhere.

More RED flag? If you Google Locked Offroad, the provided address is:
    31915 Rancho California Rd
    Temecula, CA 92592

When you zoom into the address, it's a UPS store also. Is Locked using a false store front to run their business? This is usually the case when it comes to Chinese knockoffs so there's no recourse if something were to happen. Plus, 833 is not an area code associated to a county, it's a toll free number that the business can answer from anywhere. The website is very vague, which really make no sense.

Their products is stamped "made in USA" but where?

    @ForestRunnerFrank99
I think you're running Locked CO? Maybe you have some input?

Yes I am running Locked shocks and bump stops and I sell them on my website so I have some insider information ;) Riley (the owner of Locked) used to be in Temecula but has moved to Florida in the last year. Most likely his address hasn't been updated on Google maps. He has US suppliers making his parts but I can't guarantee 100% of the internals are from the US. He had a US supplier making his shocks who was pretty good but I believe they went out of business or priced Riley out so he moved to another US supplier who screwed him out of ~$60k. They were intentionally making parts off center, leaving burrs so things leaked, it was a whole mess. Last I heard he was looking for a new supplier in the US that could match his prices (which are pretty low compared to say RadFlo) and I believe he has found one who is doing ok so far. He wouldn't stamp MADE IN U.S.A. on them if t they weren't made in the USA. He takes pride in his business and I haven't ever had a problem with support from him. I will note we have received packages missing spanner wrenches and spring adjusters but he has always been quick about getting us a replacement parts.

I'd say the major downside to Locked is that he uses Metric measurements for all his internal parts. I personally love the Metric system but there is a lot less choice when it comes to seal manufacturers, internal shims, valving, etc. Most of the big players, Fox, King... all use Standard measurements. This means getting rebuild kits can take some time and Riley doesn't always have the replacement parts in stock (who are we kidding tho, neither does King lool). I know a few people who have been running the old style Locked shocks for years without issue, and I also know people who have had their shocks start leaking within months (mostly due to that 1 bad supplier). I'm hoping he can get everything together in 2023 because the people that like his shocks, like his shocks. I'd say if you're thinking of getting some buy 1 year+ old ones or buy brand new.

Hopefully that helps and wasn't too long of a reply lol

Little late to the party but here is how I set bump height:
    1. Take your leaf pack apart (down to the main leaf) or remove the springs from your coil overs. This is to ensure we can get full bump out of the shock.
    2. Remove the Nitrogen from both your shocks and bump stops (again, to ensure you can reach full bump).
    3. REMOVE THE NYLON PAD ON YOUR BUMP STOP. This is VERY important. The Nylon pad is a consumable! If you set max bump on your shocks with the nylon pad installed and it wears down, well now you're slamming your shocks out.
    4. Install the main leaf and shocks/coilovers in your truck
    5. Lift your truck until the shocks are fully compressed. Sometimes I leave 1/2"-1" of extra shaft just to be safe, but this is up to you.
    6. Put the compressed bump stop on top of the the strike pad. That's your bump location.
    7. After you add Nitrogen, install the Nylon pad, and put your leaf pack back together you'll be right where you need to be!

20230216_164947.jpgwent and picked up the coils. Build seems decent. Reservoir mounting brackets look like there were cut by someone extremely inexperienced with a plasma cutter. Angels are off and there's leftover slag and some parts not fully cut put. I will post a pic of them later. I'll install next week, was told by locked the current spring is made by viper which has inconsistent spring rate. I'm swapping them with some king 600lb springs regardless for a lower spring rate.

To be fair laser and plasma cutters aren't perfect by any means. Our laser cut parts come off looking like that sometimes, especially the cam tab keys. IMO those logos are way too small to even try to cut out, it's pretty impressive they look as good as they do lol.
