    I just purchased an 05 2.7 auto 2wd. The engine is locked up. I am in the process of pulling the engine. I won't be able to take the torque converter loose from the flywheel since the engine will not spin. My question is, will the torque converter come out with the engine or do I have to pull the transmission also?

    Additional info on the engine. All accessories including the starter have been removed and it's locked up. I am guessing it ran hot. When I removed the valve cover I noticed that the cams were rusted pretty bad
