Supposedly the Yukon Zip is an older design of the ARB. The ARB may be slight stronger, but I've been running a Yukon Zip for 4 years now and I've never had an issue.

    Seems to be pretty strong

I read a bunch of stuff and finally went with Harrop e-lockers on my FZJ80. No air comp. No air lines. Better in cold weather according to some (I'm taking the rig to Colorado). Being installed right now. I'd have to go to the Harrop website again, but I'm pretty sure you can get them for your Tacoma, same as a Hilux.

The electric locker sounds good will have to check and see if they make it for a Tacoma

Yes they do and yes I put one the front of mine. I pulled the front diff and sent it to ECGS for the install. If you want I will dig up the part number. Remember that when you look on the Harrop site that the prices given are AUS dollars. There was a large gap when I got mine being much fewer USdollars were required at that time so i changes every day.

I am also going to be pulling my 23' Rv. I don't want something won't work when I'm pulling something also. Out on the trail is fine. I've been told the a manual locker isn't good when you're pulling something.

You gonna lock it when towing? That's the point of a locker, you can unlock it on the street when you don't need it. Air or electronic are the same in they can only be locked or open. I think what you want is a limited slip differential. You may already have one in the rear depending on what truck you have.

No I don't want to use the locker when towing, just when trailing or icy snowing conditions.
