Take it to the dealer if under warrenty... if it's blinking, it means there's a prob w/ the diff or you tried putting it on not in 4Lo.

You can get it to unlock by pushing the diff lock button (while in neutral, clutch depressed), then driving slowly forward and turning left and right, back and forth. All this should be done while on a dirt road.

I don't know...the only way is to test it out? I don't do much off-roading. Maybe once or twice to Pismo. Can you feel the difference when its locked if your on the road? If it is locked and your driving on the road will that affect the car in any way bad or good?

Thanks for the 411..I will try turning and depressing and pushing the diff button. It turned off once before but reappear later? I don't hear the chirping sound when i turn so hopefully its not locked. Is there any other way to turn the diff locked light off or anything I can do to get rid of this lock? thanks

Sounds like its not locked, but something is wrong with the system. Maybe something broke.
