Has anyone modified their bed compartments to have locks on them. It would be nice to "secure" them so I don't have to worry about the casual thief. Granted, I have not taken an up-close inspection; but, I suspect I could replace the twist-locks with an actual key-lock piece. If anyone here has any more info I would appreciate it. Thanks.

    Thanks for the assist, guys.

I found the Tuffy replacement lockbox. It is a little on the expensive side, but it may be worth it for me. Living in Alaska, shipping is going to cost an arm (and maybe a leg, as well); so, I will probably order two at once.

Thinking I had a great idea, I once got on here and asked if anyone has installed lights in the bed.

It wasn't long before I realized it was a common mod and there were 350 threads already discussing it. I also found it in the aforementioned modification list at the top of every page.

It is no different for your compartment locks. It has been done every way imagined and there are several write ups on it. Use the search function.

This is a mod I plan to do. I am going to use cabinet locks and find locks that use the same key. I would also like to hinge the bottom as I hate that it falls off so easily when opening.
