Locking gas cap for 2009

Finally fixed a 'problem' I had with the Tacoma, no locking gas cap or door.

Have had the cap installed for a couple of weeks now and no 'check engine' light, so must be OK

It's Carquest #35067 made by Stant. The Stant numbers are 10504 (boxed) and 11504 (carded).

 

I've read on here before that you can actually still open that cap without a key. Any comments on that?

 

What I've read so far concerns problems with the the '08 which has the twist-off type cap. The '09 is the screw-on type (threads). Don't know of any problems with the '09, will see.
