Just curious but wouldn't locking front hubs reduce wear and tear and create less resistance, increasing performance and mileage..
Do they exist for our trucks...??

@05Taco4x4 makes then for 2nd gens. Not sure if they’ll work for 3rd gens or if he’s planning on making them for 3rd gens.

    That looks awesome..!!
A bit expensive for me right now but I'd love to see how not turning the front axles, front diff, front driveline and t case would would affect performance, mileage and not wearing out the fore mentioned hardware..!!

This was my first vehicle and loved the shit out of it. Had locking hubs, sold front axle, manual gear box, manual... everything. Except a nice power sliding rear glass. Miss her but glad she went to a good guy in Montana somewhere. Lots of memories in this one. Needless to say I want it back.

Nice. It took me 25yrs to come to my sense. I should have at least bought a 1st Gen Taco. I'm a bit of a slow learner.

I'm pretty lucky as this was my dads 85 4R with the little tank 22R-E. Otherwise it probably would have taken me longer
Edit: It would have definitely taken me longer :anonymous:

My dad always wanted a little truck and never pulled the trigger. So, the Taco is sentimental in a way also.
