i work at a parts house and this is a common problem. we normally recommend getting a socket that is close to the same size or maybe a little smaller, hammer it on to the lug, and then it has to come off. the only problem with doing it this way is that you ruin the lug nut, and ruin the socket.

This^ I've done it multiple times when I buy a used car that doesn't come with the key... Take a socket a bit smaller than the lug, and go to town with a hammer. Most times you lose a socket, but it will get what you want accomplished...

*Just noticed it is on all wheels, so this way is out of the question. Go to a major whee/tire shop and they should be able to get it off there for ya.

I do this all the time, go to somewhere with cheap sockets, get a 12 point deepweel 1 size too small and hammer the sucker on then remove it, and most of the time the socket isnt ruined and if it is i hate 12 points anyways

What he said.....is what I would do and be done with it. if it's recessed, weld a bolt to the lug nut and then take the new improved extended lug nut off with any socket you have that fits. you will need to pop that chrome cap off first

Okay so my Lexus dealer broke the lock key when they were doing my suspension. They called me up and said that they can get the wheels off no problem, but it will be 10 days for a new key to be ordered and they will mail it to me.

"So how did you get the wheels off?" I ask them.

"Oh all of the dealerships have a MASTER KEY to get off any lug nuts that don't have a lock key. You would not believe how many people can't find the key..."

    "Ahhh okay. That easy, huh?"

    "Yep."

"So no use me having locks on my wheels right?"

"If the thief works at a dealership, then no."
