I'll give that a try before I start welding

Can I just go to autozone and get a set? If I can just replace the locking lugs and not the whole set that'd be great

Do you want new locking lugs or new normal lug nuts?

Normal lugs, I’m done with this locking lug nut bullshit. They’re rusty 20 y/o steel wheels. Nobody wants to steal them, and I live in a rural area

Bring one of your lug nuts and they should be able to sell individual ones, if they don't you can try the dealer or ebay/Amazon.

Were these locking lugs on the truck ??

Then maybe you had very expensive Tires you were protecting ?

I think I paid $20.00 for the last used Aluminum wheels I bought

Nah just some worn Goodyear duratracs. Locking lugs came with the truck no idea who or when they were put on. But I had the key so I wasn’t ever worried about it.

Most Wheel and Tire Shops should have a slightly smaller smooth socket for removing McGard wheel locks. They put the socket on an air gun and spin it over the top of the wheel lock until it heats up, expands, and fits over the wheel lock. After everything cools down the socket is backed off along with the wheel lock with a breaker bar. No damage to the wheel, however the wheel lock will be trash.

There's plenty of room to work without that center cap. Vicegrips and a hammer, hammer and punch. But pounding a socket over that would probably be faster.
