Might as well find some hummer rims and do it right with the CTIS in them as well... Why get out of the truck to air down when you can do it from the driver seat...

Ditch the engine too. You'll put 10x the money fixing that and trans time after time. Put in something decent with a manual trans

Dude, I've been there too, with my old 91 pickup. Over the years I replaced so much crap on it. Axle seals, pinion bearing, brake lines, fuel lines, clutch hydraulics, rusted out sheet metal and bumpers, engine swap after I overheated it and spun a rod bearing. I finally started to consider a newer truck after the front hanger on the driver side leaf spring cracked off the frame. In the process of welding it back up I found significant frame rust and cracking.

But the real final straw was some day after that I went to close the rear sliding window and that tiny fuckin pin that holds the latch on fell out and got lost behind the seat. That's when I was done.

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles but at the same time excited to see how the build progresses. It's a good chance to really make it exactly how you envision it.

What that supra engine some guys were using, 7gtme or something? Turbo I6. I've heard some guys putting that in old pickups and 4runners. It's a cool engine imo.

It's a 7M-GTE. If he was going Inline 6 turbo he may as well go 2JZ.
