14”, which might be part of the problem. Didn’t know I could fit 16”

Busy day. Stripped down the burrito so all the old parts can go to their new owner, got some dubs and 35s on the Ram, and finally built a deck!

FML I am getting too old for this much labor :)

Steering all ordered today minus a stabilizer. Still doing some reading up on how I want to attack that if at all.

I know from the Jeep crowd if the suspension is set up correctly and it’s quality setup you don’t need one. But yeah might be best to just hold off till everything is in to make the call if you need one

    This is true...

    This is also true...

Probably going to see how she goes in non hydro form and then if I need to dive off the cliff I will and just so a full hydro system.

The good news is running the bigger GM hydraulics on my current setup I have lots of Power Steering so I'm hoping it will do better than a regular Toyota system. Been reading on the old school diesel side where folks have gone to a different pulley to get greater pressure at lower RPMs when pushing larger tires with good results.

What width tires and back spacing?

The 38.5x14.5 SXs on 2"ish backspaced wheels the crawler came with sucked for steering. High steer with standard power assist and my shoulders would ache from fighting it thru the whole run.

Might have slung the tow rig to full lock when first leaving a couple times :anonymous:
