Loctite on timing belt idler pulley bolt?

    I'm putting my 3.4 back together and I didn't see anywhere in the FSM about thread lock (even removable) for any of the fasteners?

    Had mine done by a reputable mechanic and a month later it came loose. They used lock tite on round 2.

    3 inch lift. bluetooth stereo. blue transparent skulls shift knobs
    If you do use loctite, use blue. But it's not in the manual because it's not necessary. Lots of bolts don't have loctite because standard torquing is sufficient.

    And they did not use a torque wrench on round 1.

    They said they did....it took a month to come loose. Might be one of those thing you wanna retorque after a few miles.
