Put one on mnie 2 years ago and took it off last week as I'm trading the 'taco in. Was still tight as when installed so don't seat the Locktite you used!

Must be talking about a step other than the OEM version. That doesn't come with Bolts to secure to the Frame. You use two of the existing Bumper Bracket Bolts which don't have any Locktite on them.

No I was not talking about the frame bolts already on the truck. They are not going anywhere anyhow once properly torqued to specs. I was talking about the hardware bolts that come with the step. I guess the people that done the a/c drain mod would also sleep better at night putting Loctite on the 2 frame bolts though. LOL!

Once sold an F-150 to my brother that I'd had the engine, transmission and rear end out of. I went with Red upon re-assembly.
Needless to say, some time later I got a call.

Nice. I was going to wait and buy a new Ranger when I traded my '18 Honda CR-V in last October. Decided to go with another 4 cylinder Tacoma. I'm 57 so this truck will outlive me. But if I were to come into some money before I die I would trade for a new Ranger without hesitation.

Take care and enjoy the new ride!
