Well my upgraded 200 amp alternator just shit itself yesterday, installled in 2014, luckily i still had my stocker sitting in the attic so threw it back on for now :annoyed:....on top of it i have recently noticed a whining noise (sounds like power steering pump whine) but pretty sure its a tensioner or something......have no idea how to figure out where its coming from??????

So put the new PS pump on....still didn't have PS, so after much (google) research...I found the problem, the canister for the PS fluid was so clogged with crap I had to break it open and scrub it with green scouring pads, then put another "new" pump on...had my 8yr old daughter help me bleed the system, and boom Houston we have PS!!!!

Did you know you can change the bearing without replacing the whole tensioner pulley? This is too late for you, but maybe down the road it will save somebody some money: I did it for my noisy tensioner pulley and it was $6.00 for the bearing instead of $90.00 for the OEM tensioner pulley assembly.

BTW, awesome truck, I love the color.

Does it say on da box or papers u got, how much amps is the alt from Meangreen? I have a stock 1 and I'mrunning dual batteries via IBS Dual Battery System with fridge, compressor, etc. The stock alt not keeping up! Was going to get da 1 u have, but don't want it if it exceeds da limit of my system. Mahaloz in advance

Just saw your post, will check when I get home. But I would imagine the amperage should be good (safe) for our system as Mean Green makes the alt's vehicle specific. But will definitely look and reply when pau work
