    Looks like we ended up in about the same spot. Except mine is vertical. I cut a 3” wide plate and tapped two M8 x 1.25 holes in it. Then welded it onto the frame.

    Currently as the saying goes “watching paint dry”. My welds are shit, but they hold!

    I like that idea. Wasn't an option for me at that time. No welder. Might emulate that idea on @Lucario Runner 's truck.

    I did a few more stuffs. Got the fuel filter mounted up and ran the fuel hose to the engine bay. Need another fitting to connect to the stock fuel rail input. I thought it was 5/16” like it is under the truck. But it’s 3/8”.

    I made up one end of the hoses that attach to the fuel pump. Left the other ends long so I can see how long they need to be once the tank is in the truck.

    Installed an overdrive alternator pulley. Stock pulley was tight AF, though about taking the alternator out so I could wrestle with it. Thankfully there’s a ton of room due to the E-Fan. I was able to get in there with a 22mm impact and a swivel.

    The new pulley was a tad slimmer than the stock one, but they sent a few different shims and the thin one was perfect to get it lined up.

    While I had everything off to get to the alternator pulley, it was the perfect time to finally install the Roush tensioner for the supercharger belt. The new tensioner is noticeably stiffer and should help prevent belt slip. Look at all that room. E-fan FTW in this case.

    I also made this little replacement fuse for the ALT-S fuse that bumps up charging voltage by about 0.5v.

    Interesting. They must have enlarged the fuel line/s in the later models.

    I picked up the roof rack rails and wind deflector from the powdercoater.

    Modded the shark fin to make it more low profile. Prevents interference with the rear cross bar.

    I spent 12 years in the car audio field in a previous life. Made a lot of custom interior panels, trim parts, subwoofer enclosures. Now I just do it for therapeutic purposes.

    Installed the stock y-pipe (temporary) and the TRD exhaust that I scored on Craigslist.

    I haven’t driven it yet but it sounds good idling in the driveway. Going test it out over the next week. Probably will need to add a resonator. The goal is to make it quieter than it was with the 3” exhaust.

    I just drove it for the first time since putting the stock y-pipe and TRD exhaust on I’m not sad at all. It’s much quieter. Obviously there’s going to be a power penalty, But I can hear my stereo system while on the freeway now.

    If she thinks the TRD exhaust is loud, she’ll hate the URD 3”.
