Slightly louder than I hoped for, but the resonators helped a lot.

I don’t detect any rasp. Only low tones. But that is from the in-cab perspective. Maybe I need to do a drive-by video.

It does that also when under load. So basically anytime I'm accelerating. Its pretty decent, just a tad louder than I'd like. Getting used to it though.

Freeway underpasses though, DEEP AF and LOUD AF!

Changed the oil on the Taco this morning.

I rigged up this little root beer can with a bungee cord to catch the oil when the filter comes off.

I also ran a rubber hose through the driver fender well to make draining the catch can a little easier and less messy.

This is about 3,000 miles worth.

Thats a pretty neat idea with the catch can. My ADD W1 didn't have a bottom drain, it just unscrewed and I poured it out. It could be a pain if it was on there tight though, hard to get my hands in and break it free. I used a deer park water bottle on mine when it was NA and it would fit perfectly under the nipple for the oil filter drain. Post SC install, I just had to hold the bottle there.
My AOS on the subie has a drain that automatically dumps any oil caught back into the system. It is a clever design. It also uses hose that circulates coolant around it so to keep condensation build up to a minimum.

Pretty cool how Subie has it set up. How you liking the new ride?

The Moroso has a 90 degree outlet on the bottom with a lever you can flip to open and drain. Makes it easy to drain because you don't have to un-screw the bottom.

Looks much easier than the one I had. Quarter turn ball valve and you're done.

Loving the subie. We had a small amount of snow yesterday, but it didn't even stick to the roads. So I didn't even get a chance to try out my blizzaks. I am currently looking at the rally armor mud flaps to try to keep some of the road crap off the paint. Likely will get a set after Christmas.

Messed around with my processor a little bit. Audio Control finally came out with the MacOS version of their tuning app which is nice. Now I won’t have to boot into windows. Now if only iTronix would make the uTune software work in MacOS.

Thanks, sir! Nobody wrenches on this truck but me. Obviously I don’t build bumpers or superchargers or headers, but I can bolt em’ on! :D

Hopefully the install goes smoothly and no issues from the new trans. It’ll be nice to have 5th gear again. 3500 RPM @ 70 MPH, I try to avoid long trips at the moment. :D

John at IPT told me once the trans is installed, to ship him my old valve body and he’ll fix it for me so I’ll have a good trans to keep as a spare or sell. Cool dude.

If anyone needs a valve body, I have a brand new one from the dealer, I’ll be putting up for sale soon.
