    If anyone has LoJack in there Taco, Where do they put the lojack at and what dose it look like. Thinking of getting one. Since my last truck was stolen from me.

    you arent allowed to know. the tech choses a random spot.

    i am sure the device is very small... maybe 2"x2" or so. it runs on an internal battery and you need to have it inspected every other year or so.

    ohh... and some insurance companies will give you a discount for having it. i think i got like a 3% discount on mine.

    Although I don't have it on mine, I've recovered a lot of cars with lojack. None of them had severe damage. It is a pain to track if the car is moving, since lojack is based on radio triangulation. You will usually get your car back within hours of being reported, since the locator box will beep really loud until the vehicle is recovered, and you can't shut it off, so it drives cops nuts. Its a shame Toyota doesn't have a on-star style system, those are gps based and the operator gives you exact street locations, and direction of movement, we get a lot more arrests from those.
