What about clutch or transmission. When they are swapped they are still original? What if you change the engine head - is it semioriginal? WTF it really means. It is stupid terminology.

I can tell you have never shopped for a used truck before, it's okay. Let me explain

So if the transmission has been replaced before, the ad would read:

120,000 miles on engine
20,000 miles on transmission


If the heads were swapped, yes it's semi original. The ad would read:

120,000 mile son engine
heads were done 10,000 miles ago.

Now, if the frame or body was swapped, same concept:

120,000 miles on engine.
frame/body has 5,000 miles on it (sometimes they just mention dates)
