Has anyone considered installing a bike mount in the u-channel noted here? One of the front-fork mounts with some t-slot nuts attaching it. I know it'd hang down into the bed a bit when the cover is closed, but it seems it'd be strong enough to connect the front forks to, perhaps w/ the tailgate down to support the rear wheel (if you have a short wheel base).

This is a good idea, it would probably hold up well for on road driving. Maybe adding a crossbar consisting a t track would help, and then you could move the mounting point forward. Tnutz.com for a precut and threaded extrusion.

Sounds like a good idea, I'd be interested to see your setup if you get this done.

I drilled a fork mount for the header rail bolts but that means taking the cover off when the bike is on. Last time I just slapped my 1-up hitch rack on but my wife did laugh at me for that.

Definitely worth cross positing in the bikes & tacos thread too, especially if you get the fasteners figured out.

New member here from Southern California, I'll post in the New Member forum at a later time, but I just wanted to send a huge thank you to Nick over at @GotExhaust. And thank you to all you Tacoma World members for all this info, which helped me to finally decide on purchasing the Lomax with matte finish for my 2020 DCLB SPORT. My order was processed by Nick on a Sunday, and it arrived in 8 days (that's counting the weekends).

I love this cover. Installs easy, and is easy to remove for full bed access. The only hiccup was that the manufacturer only packed enough rubber weather strip seal for a 5' short bed. The other side was 2 feet short and I wanted a continuous seal without piecing it together. I reached out to Nick and he contacted the manufacturer to see if they could send out some more. But my OCD kicked in, and I just cant leave a project half-done, so I ended up finding a very close, (almost) exact match at O'Reilly Auto Parts, and was able to finish the install. Couldn't be happier. Love the looks of this thing! Looking forward to spending more hard earned $$$ here at Tacoma World, cheers! 20200721_090325.jpg 20200721_090211.jpg 20200721_090100.jpg 20200721_090046.jpg

Is this the matte black or urethane coated?

IMG_0675.jpg Another happy Lomax Tonneau customer courtesy of @GotExhaust. The installation was not hard, but it was not a 30-minute install as others have posted and took me 2 hours. It might have gone faster if not for interruptions by my wife and some neighbors walking by who wanted to chit chat. The video posted by TW member Blue357 was a great help and much better than the Lomax hard copy instructions.

Thank you @GotExhaust for the great price!

I thought everyone was exaggerating with the shipment speed and deal going on here. I ordered from @GotExhaust on the 20th in the evening and it came today the 24th before I got home from work. It installed it real quick. Maybe an hour being careful. Really glad I was able to install it alone, but dont worry I had supervision. My guy Drax had my back if anything went south. Seems this cover is exactly was I was looking for... Light, secure, removable, and discreet! Thanks for everyone's photos, tips, and cover details. Thanks @GotExhaust for the deal. Definitely recommended.

The honest best deal I could find online for a hard tri-fold cover was through this forum and @GotExhaust! It was extremely easy to purchase through them and with all the other replies and posts they are quick in response and quick in shipping / orders!

For the cover - it is a great cover, just like a few others have said if you want a perfect seal you might need to work on the corners a little. I was just in some heavy rain and only had a small puddle in the two front corners (where bed meets cab). Even with that the cover is holding up great and holding the weather out like expected I just need to do a little better job of weather sealing the front.

Marks on the top of the cover are just Cardboard from shipping - it wiped right off after I went in an got a rag and water.

Anyone have close up pics of the edges? I received my cover today but UPS fucked up and it was lost for about a week. After opening a claim it got delivered, but when I received it was opened/taped back together and the corner cardboard pieces to hold it in place was just sitting under the cover instead of corner. Also I think I'm missing the weather seals.

    Is this normal?

    That is NOT normal...definitely damaged!
Where did you buy it? I would look into returning for a new one if possible.
If its shipping damage then maybe UPS is responsible?

I think they all get drop shipped directly from Agri-Cover. Looks like shipping damage to me, or improper packing. Mine had white foam in the middle along with the cardboard corners.
