    I just got mine installed yesterday and love it so far. I worked with Luke as well and he was very easy to deal with and gave me a great price. Other than being in CA and having to deal with the mess that is FedEx lately (arrived almost 2 weeks later than originally told) it has been great to do business with Luke and Truck Alterations. I highly recommend the Lomax trifold cover and specifically I got the urethane finish which is great.

    New to this forum and new to owning but on the advice of 40 pages here I emailed Luke at Truck Alterations yesterday with an inquiry. Less than 24 hours later the matte lomax is installed (hopefully correctly). Unreal turnaround time and service from Luke and could not be happier.

    Apologies if this has been asked, I tried different combinations of search terms but no luck.

    Anyway, does anyone have any long term experience with the Lomax tri-fold? Specifically with the exterior fading or discoloring? Wondering if anyone is treating it with a ceramic spray or the like. Or if its even necessary?

    Just sold a new Lomax to a guy who has had a Matte on a truck in AZ for a few years and he said he can't tell that its faded so if it has it was pretty gentle. He has not cared for it he said other than washing when he washed the truck.

    Heads up guys... short notice on this as we didn't get much notice either...

    Lomax is doing some price increases that take effect on Monday... So if you are on the fence and what to save at least $50+ you need to get an order in today...

    No pressure, just advising.

    They say these increases are temporary but I would guess they will be in place at least through end of the year.

    Thats kinda what I figured. The material and coating seems pretty durable.

    And since my truck color scheme is magnetic gray and matte black I'd be totally cool with it just getting slightly more matte.

    Should just be a label so you should be able to warm it up with a hair dryer or heat gun and peel it off...
