If you scroll through this thread pics of both have been posted... There aren't really any side by side pics unfortunately but this thread has better pics than any website has.

So Ive had this on for a couple weeks now and it is a fantastic cover. Very happy with it. It rained pretty hard a few days ago and no leaks whatsoever. I dont know how much that has to do with my pre installation weather sealing or the cover. Probably both.
But to your issue, the matte black almost come off as a dark grayish color which can be hard to tell in pics. It fits my truck perfectly as I also have Nfab steps, mudflaps, and the air dam, which are very close to the same color. Looking at your pic, id think the Urethane would look very good. From what I hear its more glossy and your truck pops as it is. Just my 2 cents bud....
But just know whatever color you choose, youll be getting a great cover either way.

Why did you use a torque wrench? I don’t even recall a torque spec being included in the directions. Simple socket set did the trick.

There were torque specs listed. Believe it was 10ft lbs for brackets and 8 for rear.
I used it cuz I can tend to over do things and be unnecessarily thorough....to a fault obviously.
Plus, I had so many issues with the cover I was replacing, I wanted to follow everything to a tee with this one.
No biggie really, I have a shitload of replacement hardware so might as well use them...LOL.

Thanks @truckalter! Great price, super fast shipping. The worst part was having to wait until the weekend to install

You can add me to the urethane list. Paid on Wednesday and cover was delivered to my front door in Phoenix on Friday. Thanks again @truckalter.

Install was pretty straightforward, took about an hour. There is a slight gap in the right rear of my cover along the tailgate that might close up as the cover bakes in the Phoenix sun for a few days.

Looks great! I've been on the fence on the urethane vs matte black wondering how the AZ sun would treat these.

I guess only time will tell on that. The urethane is a slightly shinier and darker black than the plastic trim pieces, so I think it might look okay even if the cover does fade in the sun. I can take some better close up pics if you would like.
