Lomax Hard Tri Fold Tonneau

If you call Lomax they will be happy to assist you with replacement seals... It may be difficult to get what you need locally in the correct shape and material locally.

I need to get one on order, but am now conflicted between the matte and urethane finish. I'm reading conflicting information as to which finish is the most durable. My truck will be sitting in the Florida sun every day, but will not live a challenging existence. The primary issues will be rain, bird poop, and UV exposure. Which finish would be best in my case?

 

The Urethane finish provides better scratch and dent protection while the Matte finish is more UV resistant. However this isn't to say that the Matte dents and scratches "easily" or the the Urethane fades badly.

Gang, would there be any harm in putting a touch of grease on the closing mechanism so it latches more smoothly?

 

I think a smear of white lithium grease would help.

 

Anyone using bed stiffeners that go up to the top of the bed rail with the lomax? I'm wondering if the stiffener and tonneau rail would interfere with each other both using that 10mm bolt. Attached pic for reference.

 

Is there a Lomax cover for a 2nd generation 2013 DBL Cab 6' bed?

I received the Lowmax Tri Fold in black urethane just the other day.
Shipping was quick and arrived in excellent condition.

I watched a video and then read the instructions before laying out all the parts.
In a leisurely hour I had the tonneau cover installed and looking good.

Both the wife and I like the look and security of the new top.
