I am looking into getting a light bar and mounting it It in this same location. For those who have it, how did you mount it? Where did you run your button/how? And if there are already threads about it, can someone direct me to the right spot?? Thanks fellow taco lovers ;) 639f2f2912dd599160716e3c8a83b061_59afc3f4f43a1c2a842cc4c03c35c7e9141cc246.jpg

Thank you man!! I believe the tire/size was a 265/70/16. It was whatever the stock ones were

Solid, I think those NV'S are a winner tho, did you experience any rubbing when you changed the tires and rims?

Yes they are! I am very glad I purchased these over other rims lol. And yes I did and still do. I rub on the plastic on the fender. I've done some trimming, I just have to do more. Also have been thinking about doing a 1.25in spacer to help with rubbing

Ok I have heard different stuff about the rubbing yes and no, but I'll expect rubbing when I do change the rims and tires. The tires you had put on before you put the lift on we're those the bfg's that came with the truck and you just changed the rims?

Yea, it honestly had to do a lot with the width of the tire. I have a buddie that has a 2.5/3" lift with 285/70/17 and he doesn't run at all. There's a substantial difference to my eyes between the 70/75. In all honesty, I'd rather have a little rub, and fix the issues than have the 70's. I love the look of them!! Yea they were the stock bfgs, I switched out the stock rim for the methods, ran it like that for a few weeks, then I changed out the tires.

Ok cool, ya those 285's fit the tacos goood. Do the stock bfg's that come with the taco ride pretty good? And did you notice much of a difference when you changed the rim out but kept the stock tire?

Yes they do, they aren't to big, and they aren't too small! Yea they are a really good street tire. They rode almost too nice for me. I didn't like them in the dirt though. I didn't notice any difference at all

Ya perfect. So i have been calling around as far as getting those NV's, here's the thing I want to get the 16's but everyone keeps saying that those 16 inch nv's will not fit that truck for my year (2014) something to do with it rubbing against the caliper, so they are recommending that I jump up to a 17 for more clearance for the caliper? Did you run into this issue as far as running those 16's and them not clearing the caliper or did they fit perfect when you had it done?

I have the 16's on my truck and it's a 2015, I had one company say they wouldn't fit but it was bogus. If you go through Americas tire, they will be able to set you right up. I have about a 1/4"-1/2" of room between my caliper and my rim. I don't see why your year and mine would be any different.

Ya I called about three people today and they all said the same thing? The 16 will not fit? I don't know if this would make a difference or not but do you have 4 wheel drive? Cause I just have 2wd.
