Alright let me start with saying thank you to Marie & Robert at headstrong Offroad without you guys and your excellent customer service my truck would not be here today! Im humbled to have been a customer of yours!

So quick introduction before the review starts. The goal was to lift my Tacoma with a new pair of just Maxtrac Spindles and maybe some bilsteins . . . . well that quickly escalated to another beast after getting bitten by the Mod Bug on TW! Now below are the first impressions and contacts i made with headstrong offroad!

So i decided on March 24, 2016 i would contact Headstrong Offroad after searching the forums for a trustworthy vendor to buy from. My initial impressions were quite high after reading and researching from various members and who they purchased from. So the first thing i did was to makeway to the website to see what was in stock and what was offered online. When i enter the website it seem sort of new and i figured not all of their items were listed since the website was being built from the ground up so that made sense in my eyes. That was when i decided to give them a call to ask them questions regarding what i "Needed" for my Tacoma. Bare in mind i was a absolute noob and did not know a single thing about my truck up intil this point. However, Marie who was the first to greet me listened to my rambling and answered all the questions to the point where i actully learned somethings out of the conversation! So that was the intial impression and that was also when i got the quote for their Headstrong Bundle Kit! So i ended the call got a quote and learned some new things not bad at all!

Now fast foward to May 18, 2016 after countless days and hours of emailing back and forth between Marie i decided it was the day to buy! Now keep in mind in the time span between March 24,2016 and May 18,2016 Marie was able to accomadate and even explain to me how things would workout with each part i bought. In the end i also bought my wheels and tires from Headstrong since i like buying my products from one person rather then going out of my way to other shops. So we basically said out with the Bilsteins and OME Shocks and i went with a full Icon Front and rear setup, 2.5 Resis in the front with a new set of Maxtrac spindles and total chaos UCA'S. Rear was a Dakar Leaf pack and the Icon 2.0 with resis. Of course all the other little things were bought like brake lines and what not. This was all confirm on the spot and a invoice was sent right after the payment was sent. This allowed for me to schedule an appointment for pickup since i was local to Headstrong.

Now on the day of the pickup i finally got my products and was greeted by Marie & Robert, her husband. Great people and they truly deserve the best for their top notch customer service and just being down to earth!

Now, before i end this review off i just wanted to calrify that, Yes this was a great Company to buy from and that if you are ever in the market to buy parts for your Tacoma i would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Now here are the pics of the Products i purchased and what they look like on my Tacoma!

WOW NATE! I AM SPEECHLESS (which isn't normal for me :D)

This was an amazing write up. I really truly appreciate you taking the time to start this thread. This is a very competitive industry but we try to set ourselves apart with our customer service and it is so nice to see that it is appreciated!

You were also a great person to work with and it is our pleasure to have helped you make this truck everything that you wanted it to be.

Your father would be very proud!

In all honestly going from a bone stock to a MT setup is like no comparsion at all. I daily it and love going onto the dirt when theres a chance and hopping back on the main road because its that smooth. This setup makes me lust after a LT setup haha.

Open Diff Prerunner MT Setup . . . . . . . . HECK YEAH i would love to hit some trails and meet new people!

Can't wait till I save enough to buy from Headstrong. Sound like awesome people! Congrats on the sweet rig - I'm pretty jealous.

OP, what did you get on the Headstrong Bundle? I'm thinking Icon Stage 2. I also love those wheels.. what are they and finally, what size tires?

The HS bundle section (in our complete kits page) is still under construction. Basically these kits will all include a variation of the Maxtrac spindles for 2wd trucks. @BanzaiChicken took them to the next level and built the kit with Icon 2.5" resi coilovers and TC uca's, OME Dakar full leaf pack replacement and Icon extended length rear shocks with reservoirs.

The wheels were from Mickey Thompson and they are called the Classic III Black. The Specs are as started, Size - 16x8, Weight approx 20lbs, Bolt pattern - 6x5.5, Back Spacing - 4.5, Hub Bore 4.177. Tires are BFG KO2's and are the 285/75/r16 , so roughly 33 inches or close to.
