Went to the dealer today, Hooman Toyota in Long Beach near the traffic circle to get my first service done today (5300 miles). I was literally the first person in line and thought I would be an hour, tops an hour and a half, being that I wasn't in need of a car wash. It took nearly 2 1/2 hours! Is this the average wait? Just wondering what other dealers everybody else goes to and what's their average wait. Oh and the lounge area sucked, couldn't find an outlet to charge the iPhone lol They did have free coffee and cookies though.

 

yeah mine sucks too. shitty lounge area (if you could call it that), takes a couple hours for a routine oil change (with a scheduled appointment) and it usually takes me almost 30 minutes from arrival until I get someone to actually acknowledge that I'm a new customer and haven't been helped yet.

 

I hate dealerships!! Only reason im going is cuz its still under warrenty n i got the free oil changes..i almst wana say fuk it and jus do it at home sometimes cuz the wait is way to long. Iv waited 3hours b4 at longo toyota. Only good thing bout that dealer are the hot asian girls that get thr cars serviced thr.

 

Toyota care, damn you! So Longo sucks too huh? That's where I got my truck. I was hoping someone was going to say they're fast bc of their size. Is there not a decent dealership with vending machines with free tokens at the counter, more outlets to charge your phone with, in and out in an hour for an oil change maybe an hour and a half with a car wash?? I will be on the hunt for the one! Well at least as many as can find that are within maybe 35-40 miles away from me. At least at Hooman I could walk to LA Fitness and get a work out, then I guess over to Chipotle.... Leaves me still with an hour to kill. Keep me posted!

 

Arrived at 0620 (opened at 0700) rolled out at 0921, no car wash.

And sorry for all the lagg everyone this week is finals week for seniors so I have a lot on my plate right now but after next week I should be back on the horse.

 

Longo has tvs and outlets to charge ur electronics. They also have free wifi, a subway,and a starbuks. But to me none of that makes up for the long wait n poor service. Carwash is always broken. Iv caught the lot porters kickn back in my truck going thru my ipod twice!. Also when my powerstreeing pump messed up they replaced it but left the bolts loose and caused a loud belt squeal and rattle noise so i had to go right back and wait some more..i have one more free Oil change left and im done with the dealership for good ..i hope.

 

Does anyone know if ther having the trophy truck tuesday meet 2night. In burbank?

 

Cabe Toyota has good reviews on Yelp... I'll be checking that out next time.

i live like half a mile from there. lots of places to kill time there. i only got parts at hooman. and lately they started to be dicks their too. there used to be a parts guy that would always give me discounts. now some douche is there and acts like hes paying for the parts. i got my solara from cabe. decent service.
