    Right back at you.
Please delete your post and go trade your slightly longer DCLB in for a 3/4 ton with a full 8' bed so you can do real truck stuff with it.

You coming from a 4Runner, the Tacoma DCLB is still has a pretty small foot print compared to a full sized DCLB truck. Parking is definitely easier in any Tacoma.

No thank you. For so called "real truck" stuff I'd rather use An actual Commercial Medium-Duty Truck like an International or a Freightliner 24ft van.

Short because if I wanted a long bed I would have gone with a full size plus Pro’s only come in short

You must have missed it, it's right in his user information "SUPERIOR TRUCK".

Here's what I'm wondering, he says he has a manual and long bed. I'm pretty sure that's not possible. Maybe with an Access cab?

    EDIT: ahh yes it is

When I was looking for my next Tacoma, I had to decide between AC Sport or DCSB to get the 6M. Auto's are just too boring for me. The OR package offered a few more options (that are functional) over the Sport for the same price. Easy choice here.

Figured a SB is the better choice, as in the past 21 years with my 1st Gen ACLB, I never once hauled anything in the bed that required anything more than 3-4 feet anyways. Everything like 13-16' kayaks, 8-12' lumber, and 10' sticks of DOM tube all got strapped to the rack above the bed.
Having the extra seating for family or fishing buddies made the AC a NoGo.

Fishing gear, kayak gear, camping gear, tools, etc...fit just fine in either LB or SB.

I got the DCSB because I needed the space of the larger cab, but I also like to park in my garage. The long bed would technically fit, but the extra 13 inches or so would make my work space too tight for my liking. As you can see, it's already a little tight as-is. I use the bed to mainly haul softball/golf gear in the summer and duck hunting gear in the fall/winter, nothing crazy. This is my first year with the Taco for duck season, so hoping all my deeks and gear fit.

I'd hate to squeeze in that cramped spot every time to get a beer too ;)

And I can't for the life of me figure out why so many Taco owners love changing gears, but to each their own. The only vehicles I like changing gears on had 400+ HP or 2 wheels.

Haha yeah, first world problems I suppose.

Only "gear" I plan on changing is swapping out my golf clubs for my decoy bags and layout blind come duck season.

Got the LB for the purpose of camping in the bed with a shell. Now, I’m wanting a bedrack and RTT. There are times i wish I’d gone the short bed route but I’m sure at some point I’ll be glad I got The long bed.
