Yes, IMO Toyota could’ve very easily included the “waist contour line” on the short bed. I love my DCLB... besides going off road, I do haul stuff quite often and the 6’ box is invaluable to me. It was worth the 2 months wait for the DCLB w all the bells and whistles. Buy what you love and love what you buy!

You have an access cab. Now those are useless! Glad I got rid of my 2010. The back seats are a joke

Hahaha dude. The access cab looks like garbage. Couldn't afford a dclb? The dcsb has the same towing capacity and payload of a dclb. Access cabs are useless. Not sure why thye make them. Should be single cab or nothing.

Not sure if serious. Access Cab has the 6 speed manual, weighs less, has the same wheel base but longer bed than DCSB which means More Tow and Haul capacity and has room for 3 lucky passengers plus driver. Therefore, ACCESS CAB SUPERIOR, double cab INFERIOR.

I would buy a Regular Cab if it came with an 8 foot bed. Like this unicorn.

And you wasted even more time. Access cabs are shit. Not really good for anything. The dclb can physically fit way more in it. Plus it doesn't look like hot garbage. Your truck sucks and you couldn't afford a real truck. Not my fault or problem. Quit wasting everyone's time with your superiority issues. On top of that yours is a sport with Hitachi suspension. Good luck with that junk

I think the long bed looks aesthetically more balanced. I got a short bed though because it was so CHEAP!tacoma.jpg cause it was missing the whole front end!

Ha ha— I would not have a double cab even if you gave it to me. I sure see a lot of them, but they look a big family car to me. ;) I never could understand why it is the best seller.

I wanted: manual transmission, access cab, long bed (not like a full size 8' bed, but certainly would not go any shorter and still be practical for just about anything.)

Long bed is a commodity. Love this truck 2015 TRDoffroad.

Is that a roof rack over a soft top or an aluminum cab?
I'd rather have an access cab as well but I bought this truck knowing I'd have it 15-20 years and probably have a family. I wanted the long bed to put more gear in for long trips.

    Lumber rack and aluminum canopy—

Both came off my 1995 Tacoma I drove for 22 years. In the building trade/finish carpenter/contractor. You can haul more on top than you could get inside. The inside is for hauling tools on the job/ truck camping when in the mountains. I have not put up a tent in years ;)

Went for a test drive earlier this week - Tacoma 4x4 DCSB, DCLB and a Tundra 4x4 crewmax. Salesman really pushed the DCSB. If I buy a 2018, it will have to be custom ordered because of the options I want, so I don’t understand why he was so eager for me to buy the SB.

When I finished the test drives, about two miles from the dealership, my 1999 celica convertible encountered a 2015 Tundra. The Tundra won. No humans were injured. I’ve been sidelined for a bit.
