ACLB = DCSB Length I believe. Until you lift the DCLB I think it looks odd proportionally, either way my old short bed was irritating so I opted for a long regardless. ACLB is perfect as long as you can compromise cab room. I figure my truck with sustain my life for a while until kids pop up and grow older.. then comes the dreaded full size.

The ACLB is the same length as the DCSB

Long bed is still the best and better option and always will be

Lots of 6 foot bed (I cant call that long bed) fans in here.

But in truth, the majority of tacomas sold are DCSB for a reason. Personally, I think the short bed looks the best on these trucks proportionally but that's just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions...

I also think the DCSB looks better, but for practical reason I think the LB is better.
I'm about to upgrade to a DCLB due to a growing family and better options for camping.

Like others have said, for me, it was all about the manual transmission. I'd be rolling in a DCLB if they offered it with a manual, but since they don't, I guess I'm a short bed guy.

I think the long beds look goofy... luckily I don’t have much need to haul stuff...

Not once have I regretted getting the short bed. The 'long' bed is short anyway and looks out of proportion.

I seem to be in the minority, but I find the DCLB to just be proportionally too damn long. It's also annoying to park as it sticks out of every parking spot. If I wanted to deal with that, I'd have simply gotten a full size. What exactly is the benefit of a 'small' truck if it's just as long as a full size? The Width of a full size is only about 3 extra inches on each side. It's a lot less noticeable than an extra foot on the back IMO.

Woulda never got the long bed if I didn't get a deal I couldn't turn down. Now I can't imagine having a short bed. Especially for when I want to camp in the bed and I'm 6'1". All it needs is a 3" lift and 33's and it looks just right. Bonus is it looks good with a mid-height topper which mine is on order from ARE. Can't wait to build out the bed for longer camping.

Always had access cabs with a 6' bed. Longer bed is so much more handy when needed. I tend to carry stuff thats usually longer than the bed so any extra bed length is welcome.

Long bed because I can throw a topper on it and it turns into a camper I can take anywhere

When I got my 2020 TRD 4X4 ORDC I actually thought it was the 5' bed but after I bought it and signed paperwork and was ready to drive off I noticed it was a 6' bed and I thought man is this going to fit in my garage. I was worried about nothing it fits with room to spare so I'm actually glad for the 6' bed cause that's what I'm use to and I like it better than the 5' bed it just seems like it's to short .so I'm happy with long bed

Coming from a world where a 6' box is definitely a "short" bed and 8' is long, I had to at least get the 6 footer. I wish they made a regular cab 8' box... one can only dream hah

I have never been in a truck with an 8' bed. I would call that a land yacht

Short bed for me, break over angle is bad enough on these things without adding another foot between the axles.
