Did my first major road trip yesterday -550 miles. Between the power seats, the installed Seat-jackers, and the Rough Country seat covers, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the truck was. No back or neck pain or stiffness validates the comfort of its often - maligned seating position.

The 6-speed Manual worked well too and 6th gear had enough torque to make all the grades on the interstates that I traveled.

So the Off Road version of the Taco has excellent road manners and a non-fatiguing ride, as I suspect all the other versions do too.

    Two thumbs up!

Why seat jackers in addition to power seats?

I only ask because before I had ever heard of seat jackers I test drove several tacos and found out that there was no way I could live without the power driver seat because of the position. I can't imagine needing even more height than the power seat gives. You do you of course, I'm just curious.

Yeah I find the seat tolerable as well. I drove 13hrs straight from Denver a couple of month ago. Good stuff.

Even with the above mods I find it awful for long trips. I'd rather take my harley

Seat jackers may be somewhat redundant with the power seats, but for me, they add additional seating positions and raise the leading edge of the front of the seat just enough to close the gap between the seat and the crook of my knee.

I ran my stock off road 500-1000 miles a day fairly regularly for about 2 years. Truck was very comfortable. There’s a lot of other vehicles out there I would have been miserable doing that kind of mileage.

Damn!! Now that’s a lot of driving.

I’ve done a few 300+ mile trips in my Taco so far and I’ve been very happy. I’m currently just trying to adjust to the wind noise created by my Prinsu. It’s a fair amount worse than I expected.

I love the seat jackers & power seat combination. Very comfortable.

I made quite a few trips from my place to tucumcari nm (about 950 miles) on my way out to nm or Arizona for work.

The longest highway trip I’ve taken in my Taco was 460 miles and ~7 hours. It wasn’t bad. Not as comfortable as my Silverado but it was better then I was expecting. No mods to my seats except for the headrest on my passenger-seat is flipped around backwards and a lumbar pillow my GF uses for her back. I had about 400 LBS in the bed and the truck rode very well.

I have a stock 2021 SR with no power seat adjustment. I just made a round trip from Fla. to N.C. I have made
the same trip in several other vehicles and I found the Tacoma more comfortable than any of the others. I am
80 years old, so comfort is something I am interested in. I am also 6'2" and was not tired after 9+ hours of
    driving both ways.

Did a trip from CT to Chicago to Arkansas and back to CT this past May, to help move my mom from a suberb north of Chicago to my Grandpas down in AR. Just under 3200 miles all together; pulling a fully loaded uhaul trailer for 700 miles of it.

Put my sway bar back on for that trip. Honestly wouldn’t have wanted to drive anything but the Tacoma.
