    Ran a guy off the road on the way home from work tonight. I was coming up on exit 56 and needed to get off on the next exit and just didn't see him at all in my blind spot. First time in 20 years of driving I've caused an accident. Guy locked up his brakes and bounced off the guard rail after a few feet sliding in the grass.

    His brother was driving directly behind him and asked if I did it on purpose. But why would I have backed all the way up to the accident if it was intentional?

    Anyway, guy is saying his side/back hurt, which, sure, he probably hit the center console of his little Mazda, but I don't think he was wearing a seatbelt. He also told the police/EMS/fire responders that I impacted his vehicle and rammed him into the guard rail. After taking pics of both cars (mine was fine, I didn't touch him) they were getting frustrated with the guy who is now refusing medical and walking around my truck trying to find "proof" that I hit him. The consensus was that he was falling asleep at the wheel and I came into his lane at the perfect time. I still feel like I cut him off and feel awful that he's got to get his car fixed now, but I wasn't about to hand the dude money at an accident site. Feel like that would look bad should a court case ever arrive. I also think this is party due to my Softopper not having side windows. I'll have to be much more careful when checking my mirrors in the future.

    Anyway, cops took my info for the report and sent me on my way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    It does not but you can order direct from Allpro if you need the hitch. I don't tow so I passed on it.
