What's going on L.I. Tacoma Peeps...

Wondering if anyone is in the market for a diamondback 13'' crossbin?

I'm currently in NJ but will be back to the island towards the end of August. Looking for $150 but open to trades etc.

    Here's a few pictures if anyone's interested.

Been toying around with the idea of making this review post on a recent tune I had done to my truck. I would like to prefix it by saying the people involved in this process and overall initial experience I had was GREAT! Furthermore I just had a valley runner tune put into my 2021 sport. At first it solved a lot of the problems I was having but now a few months into running it I am noticing some big issues. Primarily, my main issue is throttle response and timing, my gas pedal with this tune has been transformed into an on and off switch at highway speeds. I can either accelerate at 3500rpm or have no throttle at all. If I pin my pedal it goes up to about 4000rpm. There is absolutely zero gradient programmed in. This in itself is a huge issue for me and would be enough for me to keep it stock and stick with a pedal commander or something. If that wasn’t bad enough I also have low speed issues pretty much the same as when I’m at highway speeds with the exception of a I have a few more selections of rpm, but still no gradient. If anyone has experiences with other tunes or ways to compensate for these issues I’d love to hear it.

I feel like a large portion of the population defers to a reflash as a potential solution for most problems. I guess sometimes things get wonky and a reflash is the ECU equivalent of turning it off and back on again lol.

Oh, that totally sucks! I run ran that tune for a few months without those ( and pretty much any) issues. I changed it due to how overweight my Taco is, and a different tune seemed to give me a bit better torque and power, aaand throttle setting.
Did you had it programmed by a tuner, or did you do it yourself? Maybe as @DaBigDogg mentioned, a reflash would fix it? Or disconnecting a battery for a while and letting it re-learn would help?

    Edit, for grammar/spelling

I have not experienced these issues, we got tuned together by the same tuner. That's odd. I have been pretty happy with mine. I know my Taco has a bit more weight to it than yours, maybe that's part of it? Not sure. If you find another tuner, let me know what they offer!
