Long Island, NY Tacos

Hey all, anybody know of a shop for DIY work? Like rent-a-bay type thing? I have some work I want to do soon (front axles, needle bearing, UCA, wheel bearings, maybe add-a-leaf), but no good spot to work in the winter. Preferably western LI or Queens.

 

Hey is anyone interested in a set of icon rxt leaf springs it comes with the additional leaf spring if want to swap to stage 3 . These are used and in great condition only about 8k miles in them. PM me if interested .

I’m hesitant to DIY cuz I only have a POS HF flux core welder.

That Barcelona Red I see? I just picked up a 2016 DCOR 4x4. Probably over paid for it but 42k miles and super clean. Ordered 5100/887 fronts with SPC UCA, want some SCS wheels but probably going with method 703s.
Still torn between aal/block or new leaf pack in the rear, mostly just hitting beaches and dirt roads up north VT.

 

2023 NYS beach 4X4 fishing passes went on sale this morning. Got mine!

 

I initially had the aal but went with a full leaf Pack because the aal once settled lost some of the lift. Soi would advise to buy a full leaf pack(buy once cry once) .

Hey all, I bought a set of poly leaf spring bushings (Dobinsons) for my 3rd gen not realizing the new leaf springs and shackles I bought already came with poly bushings pressed. Don't really want an extra set lying around taking up space so if anyone wants them, just give me the 90$ I paid for them and they're yours.

****LONG ISLAND TUNE DAY! KDMAX PRO TUNING WITH @Glanasa32 FROM GC OFF-ROADING!!****

I am organizing a KDMax tuning day for Long Island Taco owners.

Last year we did one at my location in Bayshore. Interest was light and everyone that was interested said they would prefer the KDMax tune.

Well, we got a KDMax tuner here on Long Island now.

Same deal as last time, I will open my location (think private sports bar with TV's, a full service bar, pool table, darts, etc) and turn on the grill if we get some interest.

Gino tuned my truck on top of the old tune and it took about a half hour.

My truck runs amazing now. No hesitation, no gear hunting and all around much better!

So, if you are interested, quote this post and your preference of dates. I am shooting for mid-April!

I will let @Glanasa32 chime in with more details on the available tunes and such.
