    the permit is for fishing only....
    although i see hundreds of people just partying the last few years....
    no swiming.fires, alchool ect.....
    but rerely see it enforced......

    check out the libba website........
    they are the keeper of the beach.......

    Also with the beach pass since it's a fishing license you need to register with the DEC. That serves as you fishing license. You can do it online, some tackle shops, town clerk offices or call 1-866-933-2257.

    hey guys lets meet up may 26th (Sunday) any ideas where we should meet? maybe by the beach? there is a place in westbury by the target and movies theathers that have a lot of space and during the week pple go there with their evos and wrx.. on another hand on deer park avenue the new sonic (i mean we could eat and hang out right there? what ya guys think??? :D

    not sure how many of you guys are nassua residents or who do not own a suffolk county permit.. Smiths point outer beach is the place if you wanna hang, light a fire, BBQ and drink some beers.. DEMo and the other state beaches are for fishing only, not really a great hang out spot..

    can u pick a beach or a place? i live in nassau. r we going to be inside the beach and if so do we need a permit or in the parking lot of the beach (i noe jones beach have big parkin lot fields)..
