We went there but gate was closed and no answering of their phone line. So Calverton was plan B.

What do me and my four wheeler need to get into Calverton? I heard just some cash to get in but anything else.....it's not registered or anything.

 

For any atv quad four wheeler Calverton only requires helmet goggles gloves and some simple work boots, and obviously bring your machine gas and money to pay for the day. It is 60 bucks for riding all day long and they even have lunch to give out be it burgers dogs pizza.

It is confusing I know I agree, there is also another place in Calverton called the Training Facility, this is another totally different group and they no long allow quads, that place is more a true motocross facility and not for the fait on heart, I believe actually at this point they might even be closed to the public.

Sounds good bud, I did not make it out this weekend either but weather is getting better so whenever you want shoot me a message, fyi they also offer rentals for friends and family who want to rip it up and do not have a machine!

Dang thanks for sharing this in our local thread Travis, I can't swing this type of trip currently but would love to in the future! I always look at the old trip reports great stuff.

I just weighed in, no wait period by law currently. That dealer is being too safe.

 

Completely not gun related, but I know Suffolk County has a 21 day "pawn" rule before you can sell an item. Sellers usually wait about 21 days (3 weeks) to see if any police reports come up with the item as stolen. May have nothing to do with a gun, but that would be the only reason I could see to hold it for that long

 

Anyone want to trade me standard tail lights and a little cash for my oem led tails. My truck is a 2015. looking for excellent condition lights. pm me if anyone wants to make a deal!

 

Keep an eye out on the for sale forum and craiglist, someone had a set of regular standard red tails not too long ago for pretty cheap (under 100 for the set) iirc he wanted 90 for the pair in great condition. G/L with your swap, I thought about doing the same thing as well.

 

yeah, i have been. i get around the northeast a lot and it would be nice to just do a swap in person so no one is out a set of lights so im just trying to get the word out to the local areas. ill be in ny this weekend. my family is from trumble Connecticut so getting up this way isnt out of my way.
